House M2 – Saint-Tropez, France

Architectural mesh for facade

This detached house is located on a hillside on the outskirts of Saint Tropez. The architect Vincent Coste has refurbished the house, respecting its different independent spaces and creating a new appearance, design and functionality. Both the exterior and interior are characterised by a clean design and high-quality materials. The large windows provide beautiful views and natural light.

In order to address the potential excess of this light at certain times of the day and at certain times of the year, various sunscreens were custom-designed and strategically placed at different points along the façade, serving to compartmentalise the large upper terrace in the process.

The elegant panels were created using Mies F architectural metal mesh in anodised aluminium with a matt gold finish, adding an elegant and subtle note to the 400 m2 house.
